Sorry, one of my pet gripes!
Strictly, the Solar System is that system of planets and other bodies in orbit around our local star - Sol - hence the name.
Many people - including some of the illustrious producers of fiction featured in these pages and especially the media who never seem to fully research their reports - incorrectly refer to any star system as a solar system.
